BA + BSc Degrees

SIAT offers unique and flexible degree options. At the undergraduate level you can earn either a Bachelor of Science (BSc) or a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree.

All SIAT students complete a common set of first and second year courses. Then, in your third and fourth year, you will complete one (or more) concentration(s) in Informatics, Design, or Media Arts. This flexibility allows you to explore courses across the concentrations, while earning a degree that suits your individual strengths and goals.

Within their degree, students can choose to complete a Major, Minor or Honours program, or a joint major . See full list of requirements for each:

How do I change my concentration or degree once I'm ALREADY in the IAT program?

It's easy! Simply fill in our online form (link below). We'll change your plan within a few weeks and send you a confirmation email.
