These courses were developed as part of the Bachelor of Science programs in Information Technology, Interactive Arts, or Management and Technology offered by the Technical University of British Columbia.

In 2002, Simon Fraser University assumed responsibility for the Technical Unviersity of British Columbia, it's programs, campus, and students.

These courses were offered as part of the programs in Interactive Arts and Information Technology from September 2002 through to April 2006 to ensure students could complete the Bachelor of Science degrees they set out to achieve.

Students in the Information Technology and Interactive Arts programs completed their degrees at Simon Fraser University, administered by the School of Interactive Arts and Technology; many were fully completed by 2007.  

Many students in the Management and Technology program transferred to the Faculty of Business Administration at SFU and completed their degrees there.
