TA Training
During the first month of the Spring 2010 semester, a series of professional development workshops will be offered to all Teaching Assistants at the Surrey Campus. Modeled on the series offered by SIAT in Fall 2009, these workshops will cover topics such as marking skills, leading effective discussions, presentation and communication skills, dealing with academic integrity, and much more.
Six hours of time outlined in your TUGs can be used towards tasks which support course delivery. This series of workshops satisfies this time commitment. Participation is voluntary.
