Free ITA Seminar Courses for International TAs and Grad Students - Nov 29, 2010

We are pleased to announce that the International Teaching Assistants Program will be again offering full seminar courses free of charge (i.e., no burden for faculties and departments) in the Fall 2010 Semester. The 10-week seminar course will begin in the Week of September 27, and end the Week of November 29. Faculties and departments are encouraged to send all their international and EAL/ESL graduate students and TAs who are experiencing difficulties with their communication and teaching skills to the ITA Program. They will have the opportunity to take full advantage of the integrated academic communication and teaching skills training in a supportive environment that will help not only improve their abilities, but give them confidence in being a better functioning member of the SFU academic community.
