The Peak newspaper to host workshop
posted: february 9. 2010
The Peak newspaper has been SFU's independent student newspaper since 1965. The newspaper is distributed to all 3 campuses every week and has been online since 1994. The Peak operates as a collective, meaning that there is no real authoritative head of the newspaper. The Peak does not operate for profit but for the well-being of the student body at SFU. Every SFU student is a part of the collective and we always welcome volunteer contributions from students in the form of articles, photos or comics. We feel that this be enticing and meaningful to those involved with the Interactive Arts and Tech program. The Peak has collective meetings, where we undergo issue-planning. These meetings are every Wednesday at 3:30 pm at MBC 2901 under Higher Grounds Coffee.
We will be hosting an event workshop this Wednesday Feb 10 at Residence Dining Hall on the Burnaby campus from 5:30-7:30pm. We would like to extend this invitation to SIAT students and to anyone in general.
