SIAT Ph.D candidate Robin Oppenheimer presents light show research & procures U of W teaching position

SIAT Ph.D candidate Robin Oppenheimer will present her research about West Coast 1960's light shows on a panel called The Aesthetics of the Counterculture at the national College Art Association convention in Los Angeles in February, 2009 . She has also been invited to present her light show research at the Media Archeology Festival in Houston in April, 2009 .

Robin Oppenheimer is also teaching part-time now at the University of Washington Bothell campus in the Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences Program. She is teaching a new course she develops each quarter for the next school year, starting this fall with a class called Creative Collaboration Across the Arts and Sciences.

Oppenheimer is in the process of writing her Ph.D. qualifying exams.
