Homeless: It's No Game -- Selected Games for Change Game Expo

posted: august 8. 2007

The videogame, 'Homeless - It's No Game' created by SIAT graduate student Terry Lavender, will be one of seven games to inaugurate a new MTV website devoted to social change. It will be featured on the site along with such games as Darfur is Dying and the Planet Green Game. Homeless - It's No Game will also be used in Vancouver schools this fall to help educate students about life for homeless people. Recently it was showcased at the annual Games for Change conference in New York City, where it was one of only 17 games to be featured, and was included among big-budget, high profile games such as Peacemaker, A Force More Powerful and Darfur is Dying.
