Question: I have been selected to present at a conference, is there any funding help for me?

Yes, SIAT has a limited annual budget to help fund students who are presenting at conferences. This funding is on a matching basis, as such you will need to request matching funds from your senior supervisor. To allow time for processing we ask that you submit your application at least one week before your travel, if you would like to apply for an advance for the funding you must submit your application no later than 6 weeks prior to your travel date. Please note that funding is not guaranteed: decisions on funding are made based on academic merit, the significance of the conference, and fund availability.
